1. Maintenance Technician – Sawmill Operations

Job Purpose:
To perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all sawmill machinery and mechanical systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted plant operations.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of sawmill machines including breakdown saws, pony saws, re-saws, and cross-cut saws.
  • Assist in machinery overhauls and calibration.
  • Report faults and ensure timely repairs to avoid downtime.
  • Comply with safety procedures and standards during all maintenance work.
  • Work closely with production teams to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Maintenance / Mechatronics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial machine maintenance, preferably in timber or manufacturing industries.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and interpret mechanical diagrams.
  • Team player with a safety-first attitude.
  • Willing to work in Bukit Besi, Dungun, Terengganu.

      YB Tuan Haji Wan Hassan bin Mohd Ramli

      YB Tuan Haji Wan Hassan bin Mohd Ramli is a Malaysian politician from the Islamic Party of Malaysia (PAS), currently serving under the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dungun, Terengganu, since 2013. Born in 1957, he previously served as a State Executive Council member (EXCO) in Terengganu, handling Youth, Sports, Culture, and Tourism from 1999 to 2004.

      Before his political career, he worked with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and later became Chairman of the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) from 2020 to 2022.
